Raining

Today it's raining. A lot. The rainy season has started here in the Po-valley, and my mum says that if we're unlucky it might last until March/ April next year! I can't even imagine how long time that is! But I didn't let the rain stop me from going outside. My mum wanted to wait until it stopped raining, but I said it was too long to wait until spring arrives, so off we went. I got to sit in my pram, under the rain-cover. That was nice. The raindrops played one melody after another as they splashed on the rain-cover and I did my own version of singing in the rain as we zig-zagged between the pools of water and my mum got really really wet. Our neighbour said that we were brave not to let the rain stop us, and said it was just as good it was not snowing, but she doesn't know that I have passed the first level of the little-viking exam in Iceland and the weather doesn't scare me at all. Sincerely I can't wait for the snow to come so that I can feel it and learn to know it!! When I went with my parents to see Hoffellsjokull in Iceland this summer the arctic storm blew down the glacier and straight into my face, but I just laughed and asked the storm if he couldn't do better than that. I also wished that the vecchiette of my neighbourhood had seen me then, for this summer they used to touch my bare feet and if they were slightly fresh they would comment on it, leaving my mum with a guilty feeling as if she didn't know how to dress me!
Well, of course it's nicer when the sun is shining, for then we can do just about anything we like, but it can also be great in the rain. When I've learnt to walk, I'll get me a good pollagalla and make sure that I jump in every pool that my mum zig-zagged away from today!

So Oscar-ino discovered the rain, that we have waited a lot for, but that's now becoming a bit boring, lasting for all the day.
Forced to be under a plastic shelter it's nice at the beginning, but I guess it's not really the maximum of visibility for young explorers.
Anyway this give you the possibility to run your plans dispite of the weather make you feelig the master of the situation.
Fighting against tha rain it's not a big task for a MAN OF THE NORTH. I was already dimostrating my ability and courage in Iceland struggling against such a strong wind you could have been put on the ground.
Even if battles are still waiting for the hero to come up so far ou have been behaving quite well.
I'll see you again against the next athmosferic agent that could be the tender snow or the sharp rain, let's see how it goes ...
